Elitel sp. z o.o. designs, and manufactures LED displays for outdoor applications
with brightness ensuring visibilty in direct sunlight conditions.
Typical applications of the displays are:
- petrol price display,
- highway information systems,
- sports stadium scoreboards
- manufacturing process scoreboards.
Highest brightness of 5 cd per LED at 130 deg viewing angle ensure
good visibility of presented information even in a direct sunlight conditions.
For typical application that require presentation of digital info we recommend
standard 7 segment large footprint digital display.
Displays of 14 cm height are avalable from stock in red or yellow color/5cd per
segment.
Typical control protocols are:
- direct TTL signal
- latched TTL
- serial TTL
- RS232 or RS485
- CAN
Optionally high level protocols can be implemented such as
- CAN, CANOPEN, Devicenet
- HTTP, Ethernet.
Simple stand alone applications such as clocks, counters, multimeters can be implemented
on order.

LED displays are made to order according to customer's specification.
Request for quotation has to be submitted along with full description of
target appilcation and include at least the following data.:
- size of display and type (digital, alphanum, dot matrix graphical)
- color, brightness (or light condition at mounting site), angle of
useful visibility
- control protocol or software functionality or host controller type.
