Focus G.SHDSL modem operates in full duplex mode over 2-wire lines.
Supports speeds up to 4.6 mbps at distances up to 8km.
Supports 10baseT bridging interfaces.
The modem supports Ethernet interface with a built-in high performance hardware bridge.

Range values are tested in field operations.
Effective range depends on line quality.
Line interface is buit around Mindspeed G.shdsl interface chipset
in accordance with chipset recommended application.
All critical analog components are carefully selected to ensure
maximum performance of the transmission.

Transmission speed is
selected by S0, S1, S2, S3, S4 switches in the range of 256 to 4608 kbps
Installation:
Istallation is straightforward process.
Both transmission line ends should be connected to the Line RJ45 connectors (pin 4
& 5). LAN connection to the switch or hub should be done with 1 to 1 patchcord.
In case modem is connected to the network card, cross-over cable shoud be used.
Modem at one end of transmission line should be set to "slave" mode, while the other
modem should be set to "master" mode. (rightmost dipswitch up or down).
Wan link status is monitored by WAN SYNCH LED.
Depending on speed setting, getting WAN connection takes between 10 seconds and
one minute.
Proper connection to LAN is monitored by LAN SYNC LED.
